Flamengo has made progress in negotiations with Anthony Martial’s representatives, according to Nicolo Schira. The 28-year-old striker, now a free agent after leaving Manchester United this summer, has received offers from three clubs, but Flamengo has put forward the most attractive deal.

Fabrizio Romano reported on Thursday that Martial has been targeted as a replacement for Flamengo forward Pedro, who is currently injured, with talks ongoing to strengthen the team’s attack.

Last season, Martial started five Premier League matches and has also been linked with moves to Galatasaray and AEK Athens.
