According to *Corriere dello Sport*, Juventus and AC Milan are set to join a growing list of top clubs, including Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain, in the pursuit of Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres, who is almost certain to leave next summer.
Gyokeres has been in phenomenal form this season, with 20 goals and four assists in just 16 appearances. The Swedish striker with Hungarian roots is attracting plenty of interest, but his €100 million release clause has so far been a stumbling block for Juventus and Milan, despite initial talks with his representatives. However, with only a year left on his contract by season’s end, Sporting may have to lower their demands to avoid losing him for free in 2026.
There were recent rumors that Sporting coach Ruben Amorim, soon to take over at Manchester United, might look to bring Gyokeres with him to Old Trafford in January, but Amorim has quickly dismissed that speculation.
