Real Madrid set their sights on Arsenal's Saliba.

Real Madrid have made Arsenal defender William Saliba their top transfer target, according to The Sun. Despite Saliba, 23, recently signing a new four-year contract that keeps him at the club until 2027 and expressing his happiness to stay long-term, Madrid are determined to pursue a move. They are reportedly preparing a bid in the region of €80 million next summer. Additionally, The Boot Room suggests that Real Madrid are also considering Manchester United’s Lisandro Martinez as another option.

The Mirror reports that Manchester United are eyeing a move for Chelsea and Tottenham target Patrick Dorgu. The 20-year-old Lecce left-back, who was named Denmark’s Young Player of the Year, could be available for around €40 million in the summer. Dorgu is one of several left-back options United are looking at, with other names like Alphonso Davies, Milos Kerkez, and Álvaro Carreras also on their radar.

Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly monitoring Palmeiras defender Vitor Reis as a potential summer transfer target, according to Florian Plettenberg. The 18-year-old, who signed with Palmeiras until 2028, is considered one of South America’s top talents. He made his senior debut this year and has earned nine caps for Brazil’s U-17 team. Both Premier League clubs are closely tracking his progress.

Liverpool see Brighton’s João Pedro as a long-term successor to Darwin Núñez, according to Ekrem Konur. Talks have already been held between the two clubs over a possible move, which could take place as soon as January. The 23-year-old forward has been in excellent form for Brighton, scoring 24 goals in 48 appearances, and also made his debut for Brazil last year.

In other news, Jose Mourinho has ruled out the possibility of reuniting with Cristiano Ronaldo at Fenerbahce. Despite Ronaldo’s contract expiring at Al Nassr next year, Mourinho stated, “Cristiano will not come. I have three good forwards, and I don’t need another one. He has the money and the goal of 1,000 goals in Saudi Arabia. What would motivate him to come to Turkey, other than the beauty of Istanbul?”
