Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly “urging” the club to pursue Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, according to *Mundo Deportivo*.
Ronaldo believes that the 33-year-old could significantly elevate the team and has allegedly reached out to the club’s management to discuss the possibility of bringing him on board, with a potential offer of $1 million per week.
De Bruyne was a target for Al Nassr during the summer as he entered the final year of his contract with Manchester City. His future at the Etihad remains uncertain, and he may need to accept a pay cut from his current £375,000 per week salary to remain with Pep Guardiola’s side. This situation could create an opportunity for clubs in the Saudi Pro League to secure his services.
So far this season, De Bruyne has made five appearances for City but is currently sidelined due to an injury he sustained during the 0-0 draw against Internazionale in the Champions League.
